A diagnosis of diabetes is difficult enough without having the worry of being uninsured. This section provides the information you will need if you have no insurance, or are in jeopardy of losing your insurance for any reason.
Each of the fifty states has a state Medicaid program, and most have other programs you can apply for if you do not qualify for Medicaid. These other programs are very low cost and will cover all of your diabetes supplies. Some states also have special programs for children with chronic illnesses (including diabetes) that help offset the costs of co-pays on doctor's visits and prescriptions.
