PLEASE READ!!!!!! INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE FOR 911 HELP SECTION

  • This section is for specific immediate assistance for any D-Care issues. Please keep in mind, this is merely an alert system for the board so if someone is on, they can help out. This doesn't alert any member off site, nor does it contact any medical professional. This area should be used for emergencies only.  Asking for help with carbs and any other non emergency help should be posted in the areas of the forum that relate to those issues.  Also, as with any information provided here at T1P, please take into account this is advice from parents like yourselves and should be treated as such.

If this is an extreme emergency- please call your care team or 911.

In order to make this work efficiently- we need you to follow these instructions:

1- Start new post and add a short description of problem.

2- Please change the Message Icon- located under subject to "I Need Help!". This creates a Help Icon inside the board page which looks like this-

3- After posting, a red HELP ME will appear as a visual alert on the main board index that someone needs help.

4- Once this issue is resolved and no further help is needed, please return to the original post and at the bottom click Topic Solved

Please feel free to use this for minor immediate issues. Any major issues should be directed to your Diabetes Care Team.
