  • I have 2 January diagnoses but could only put one in  :-\
    Winter is a big time because viruses are such a trigger, I don't get July.  I'm interested in knowing years.  The public health nurse here said they get 1 or 2 new diagnoses a year, sometimes none.  This year there have been 7 already and that kind of increase isn't limited to the Comox Valley where I live.  That's an enormous jump and I'd be interested to know if that kind of jump is being seen in other areas.

    July is winter in Australia, where Campbell was diagnosed.  He actually had a sinus infection at the the time.

  • Very strange, I was 8 months pregnant with Abby when Caleb was dxd, definitely not a fun time. Caleb was also sick with a virus right before he was dxd.

  • Sept. 22, 2005 for us. Right after she started 1st grade and around allergy time for her and not too long after I had my business up and running.  I think this disease should have checked with me first so I could let it know when  a good time would be....NEVER!!!!!! <L>
