  • Kristen got her first shot yesterday.  I'm hoping there will be enough for her to get her second in November, but at least she will have gotten half.

  • Yes, I think so (I keep waffling), if they ever get the injected one in.

  • My dr. office didnt have them when I went yesterday for more issues with back pain...  I asked her about it and she said yes, definitely when it comes in.  Between the d and the kids at school...  so if they have some for me, great.  If not, I wont freak out over it.

  • Maybe we're not.  The state just suspended all of our counties school clinics.  It is a wait and see at this point.  I am hoping they do some type of priority system at this point.

  • We all got ours today along with the seasonal flu.  I'm never 100% committed any vaccine we get or get for the kids but there are too many healthy people dying for me to feel OK about letting it go.  I'm particularly concerned about anyone getting sick while we're out of the country.

  • Girls go in after school to get their H1N1... thanks in no part to our clinic but our Endo... who was working there yesterday (she comes to our local clinic once a month)... she called and let me know they were in and do 'hurry hurry and get an appt'... so after I hang up with her call the clinic to be told that they'll schedule Katy but not Annelies (ya know, because she's not high risk)... I told the scheduler that I would be glad to be put on hold while she spoke to my daughter's specialist regarding the high risk factor... oh and by the way, it was my endo who called us because "your" clinic couldn't be bothered to let us know as promised... so they both have appointments ;)

  • After much debate, I decided to get it.  I went to a county clinic on Saturday and was in and out in less than 5 minutes.  I was told ahead of time to bring Proof that I have diabetes, so I had my insulin box with the prescription label, and of course I had Forrest Pump and they never asked me to show any of it!  LOL
