  • Ok, I have a friend who's 12 year old son is in public school in New York state. No 504 plan in place. School nurse is leaving the school and they have not hired a replacement and told the Mom that they are not sure who will take care of her son. They are still new to the journey- only about a year in. Anyone know the laws for NYS in regards to D care and school nurses?

  • I forgot that I know a T1D mom who is a nurse and a D educator!!  :loco:  I got them together for a conversation so she is getting help.  I hate what our kids go through in school!
