  • So trying to plan ahead - I have more FSA money left than I anticipated. What are some of the more offbeat things your FSA has covered that I may not have thought about or anything really. I know glucose tabs. I am booking appts with every doctor under the sun.

I wonder if I could et my FSA to cover a phone for dexcom sharing?

Good idea! Unfortunately both of mine are rechargeable, but a good idea for someone else.

    We were lucky because until
We moved we had a secondary insurance that was paying the remainder of things.

  • If your husbands company offers a flexible savings account, rather than a flexible spending account, put money in it instead.

A flexible savings account does not have to be used by the end of the year.  Funds keep accumulating until you need them.  The one we have lets us decide how that money is invested, or for a fee we could have it administered by their financial department.  That way you can save for a big expense like lasik surgery or some unknown future medical event, and you don't have to come up with ways to spend money on things you don't really need at the moment.
