  • Hi!  I am new to this world.  My 6 year old daughter was diagnosed on 11/8/15.  Everyone keeps telling me this gets easier, so I am hopeful.

  • Sorry that you've had reason to find us, but this is absolutely the best place I've found for information and encouragement. Several of the parents here say, "It doesn't get easier... you get better at it." So take heart that it won't feel this overwhelming forever! Jump right in with questions and welcome to "the best club no one wants to be a part of."

  • Hi and welcome to T1P.  :welcome:
I'm sorry about your daughter's diagnosis, but I'm glad you found us so quickly.
Ask anything here, there are no dumb questions.  We've all walked in your shoes, and we know how overwhelming it is in the beginning.
Hang in there, and take care of yourself too.  <hug>
