Life
« on: January 31, 2016, 11:01:15 PM »
Life has been a bit of a whirlwind the last few months.

Ian turned 1 right before Christmas.  Those of you on FB can see.  Claire became fully potty trained sometime in October.  And they say girls are easier...  I'm in trouble with Ian since Claire was quite the stubborn one.

I've been separated from my husband for a few months.  He got involved in something and I cannot be a part of this anymore.  It's a very conflicting situation and I've had a hard time with it, but it is what it is.  I'll be ok, the kids will be ok and so will he.  My parents have been so very supportive and helpful as have a few close friends who I don't know what I would do without.

How is tomorrow February already??  I'm in a daze lately and the year is flying!  We got dumped with 3 feet of snow last week and school was closed all week (for students - teachers went in on Thursday and Friday) so tomorrow should be interesting.  And it will be in the 50s temperature wise!

I'm sorry to hear about you and Gary, but I know you are doing what is best for you and the kids.  You are a great mom.
I love seeing the pics of Claire and Ian on FB.  Ian looks so much like Claire when she was that age.
You know we're here for you, whatever you need.  <hug>

Hugs!  Glad things are going well now, but I agree it would be nice to have life slow down just a bit!

Thanks ladies.

This whole situation is so heartbreaking. This is not how I saw myself, but some things are out of my control. Due to a series of serious lapses in judgment, this is where I find myself. Life is so awkward at the moment.

But we really are doing great. Ian and Claire start full time day care next week which will make my life so much easier.  Claire doesn't ask too much, which is surprising to me, but also a blessing. Ian, thankfully, is too young to understand what is going on. Give him a boob and he is happy.

Now I'm just focusing on getting back on track diabetes wise. That's what I need to do to be healthy for my kids.
