General Diabetes Discussion / Re: Apps for CGMs?

Look for the CGM in the Cloud Facebook group.  There are some options for some medtronic now.  Dexcom is pretty much the industry standard CGM though- the enlites are way way behind.

He has a Medtronic Enlite CGM - still pretty new to the CGM piece, so I wasn't aware there were other options - thanks for asking for the clarification!

It depends on which CGM he uses. Dexcom does have the ability to share information & alerts to caregiver's phones depending on which version he uses and how it's set up. If you can find out the specifics of what he uses, there are several here who can give you more guidance!

General Diabetes Discussion / Apps for CGMs?

My 8 year old nephew with Type 1 who we are currently caring for just got the CGM sensor about a month ago - are there any good apps that we can connect to so that as caregivers we get alerts by phone when he has low or high alarms?  Our providers don't seem to know of any, so thought I would check here!  Thanks in advance!

Hello! I have been helping to care for my 8 year old nephew for the past 15 months. He was diagnosed when he was three and even after 15 months, I still feel lost and frustrated by certain things. I'm hoping this online community can provide support, answer questions and share knowledge! Looking forward to being a part of your group!
